Conclusion
Primary PCI seems to be the best reperfusion therapy for
STEMI, even in elderly patients. Although there are no studies
on centenarians with STEMI undergoing primary PCI, some
case reports show low procedure-related complication rates and
that primary PCI is lifesaving.
