  • 30 July 2024: Abstract results announcement via email to each submitter
  • 5 August 2024: All abstract presenters must register for the congress

INTRODUCTION

The Southern African Hypertension Society (SAHS) invites all students and researchers to submit abstracts related to or within the field of hypertension.

CATEGORIES FOR SUBMISSION

  1. Students – Currently enrolled postgraduate students
  2. Researchers/Clinicians – Early, mid & senior career

SCIENCE THEME

  1. Basic
  2. Clinical
  3. Population

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Introduction – Maximum 100 Words
  • Methods  – Maximum 200 Words
  • Results – Maximum 100 Words
  • Conclusion – Maximium  100 Words

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • An individual can present a maximum of 3 abstracts at the SAHS 2024 congress.
  • Submission of abstracts of previously published work is not allowed. If the data presented are additional to a published study, the data may be submitted.
  • Investigators will receive notification via email regarding the acceptance of their abstracts for presentation at the congress.
  • All abstract presenters must register for the congress. Registration must be completed before 2 August 2024. Otherwise, the abstract will not be included in the programme or be eligible to be presented at the congress.

Please ensure that all submitted information is accurate. Neither SAHS nor CVJA will assume responsibility for any inaccuracies in the submissions or personal information.

SAHS Investigator Oral And Poster Award

The SAHS will award the investagator judged to have given the best score oral or poster presentation at the congress. The award winners will receive a monetary award , and a Certificate.
This award aims at encouraging new Investigators and recognising excellence in scientific contribution.
