STRATEGIC HEALTH INNOVATION PARTNERSHIPS (SHIP)
Mobile triage app
To reduce overcrowding in clinics and hospitals, and to reduce the
number of incorrectly triaged people, the mobile triage app was
developed, which streamlines the prioritisation of patients in the
emergency room.
The secure airway clamp
The secure airway clamp is designed to mitigate the myriad of
risks faced by anaesthetists and other health professionals during
the intubation procedure.
The benefits include:
• preventing tooth damage during tube insertion and from jaw
clenching when awaking from anaesthesia
• the ability to fix the tube in patients with severe facial burns
• a ‘bite block’ preventing patients from biting down on the
tube and blocking the airway
Gknowmix application
This service imports genetic test results and other patient-related
information, and interprets them to produce a report that
identifies risk areas associated with genetic abnormalities, family
history, and clinical and lifestyle factors.
Some of the medical innovations the SHIP TEAM are excited about:

diseases, alcohol and drug abuse, and women’s health.
SHIP is a new
innovative product development programme
within
