Job Title: Language Editor (Medical – Cardiovascular Focus)
We are seeking a skilled Language Editor with a strong background in medical and cardiovascular content to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented person with excellent command of English and proven experience editing complex medical material for clarity, accuracy, and publication readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and refine medical manuscripts, case studies, and educational materials with a focus on cardiology and cardiovascular medicine
- Ensure language accuracy, clarity, coherence, and consistency while preserving scientific meaning
- Correct grammar, syntax, punctuation, and style according to academic and medical publishing standards
- Verify appropriate use of medical terminology and cardiovascular concepts
Requirements
- Proven experience as a medical language editor or similar role
- A background in cardiovascular medicine would be beneficial (clinical, research, or publishing exposure)
- Excellent command of written English
- Familiarity with medical style guides
- Ability to handle highly technical medical content accurately
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
- Experience editing manuscripts for journal submission is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cardiologists, cardiovascular researchers, or medical publishers
- Understanding of research methodology and medical statistics
