Controlling Hypertension in Southern Africa: The New Frontier
It is a pleasure to introduce to you the abstracts submitted for the Southern African Hypertension Society Biennial Congress held at The Capital on the Park, Sandton, Gauteng on 14 - 16 August 2026.
This research reflects the dedication, innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration required to address the growing burden of hypertension. The high standard and diversity of the abstracts received have enriched the scientific programme and strengthened our shared commitment to improving the prevention, diagnosis and management of hypertension across Southern Africa.
